Do you have your own PA and Lighting?

Yes, we have a professional PAT tested PA and lighting system that we use for our performances. All we require is a power supply close to where you would like us to perform.

How long do you take to set up?

​

When we are given access to the venue we require 1 hour for the band to set up. This will include a sound check.

How long do you play for?

​

A standard booking with Evening Squire is for two 1 hour performances with a small break between. We are always happy to adjust our timings to suit your event.

Can I see your set list before the event?

​

Absolutely! The last thing we want to do is play a song that you hate, or miss your favourite track. We can play a wide range of songs and would be happy to change some of our set to suit your event.

Can you learn requests?

​

If you would like us to play your first dance or favourite song, let us know. While we always endeavour to play a song if requested, some songs just don't work being played by a live band. If that is the case we can use our PA system to play the original track.

Our venue has a sound limiter, is that a problem?

​

No, not at all. As we are an acoustic band, we can play at a far lower volume than other function bands when required.

Can you play an Ipod while you're not performing?

​

Yes. We have all the cables to connect phones, ipods and laptops. We have our own playlists to play while we are not performing. If you have your own playlist, we are happy to play yours instead.

Are you insured and is your equipment PAT tested?

​

Yes and Yes! We have public liability insurance from The Musicians Union and all our equipment is annually PAT tested. A PAT test ensures portable electrical appliances (such as our speakers) are safe to use. It's like an MOT, but for electrics!
